Our Principles

The Connected Culture Model (CCM) was created as a principle framework for leaders to create more cohesive and aligned teams and as a basis for all ArtRise workshops and experiences.

CCM dives into team dynamics and universal human needs, to identify many of the gaps and bridges necessary for teams to be feel collaborative, communicative and innovative.

The video below is an engaging 20-min interactive walkthrough of CCM.

Our Approach: Why we use Art

Our workshops are rooted in the science of connection and creativity. Research shows that emotional intelligence, empathy, and teamwork are critical for thriving teams and organizations. Here’s how we use art to activate these qualities:

  • Beta Brain State Activation: At work, we often rely on the alpha brain state for efficiency and logic. Art guides participants into a beta brain state, engaging the emotional centers of the brain to foster deeper connection and creativity.

  • Neural Gateway: We use guided questions to uncover participants’ unique values, qualities, and strengths. Art provides a gateway that allows them to express their individuality while connecting with others.

  • Collaborative Art Creation: Teams come together to create art that reflects their individuality as well as shared identity and goals. The process builds trust, aligns vision, and sparks meaningful conversations.

  • Empathy and Communication Tools: Participants learn how to use art as a tool to foster connection and improve communication within their teams.

Simply put, art takes us out of our heads and into our hearts, making it easier to see differently, and absorb new information. Art communicates in ways where words are not enough, letting us a way to communicate in ways that allow us to feel seen, heard and understood. Through these methods, our workshops inspire participants to connect with themselves and their teams in new ways, so that teams can truly thrive.

ArtRise was born from a simple yet profound belief: art has the power to transform teams. It’s not just about creating beautiful pieces of art; it’s about creating experiences that ignite cohesion, and connection. Art is the vehicle that delivers the results.
