About Alicia Jackson

Artist. Founder. Advocate for Human Connection.

I’ve always been drawn to seeing the truth beneath the surface, understanding the depth of unspoken stories, quiet emotions, unseen threads that connect us as people. For years, I expressed that curiosity through art, creating pieces where the canvas is revealing a hidden layer beneath, a process that would eventually become the foundation of my Lumen Peel™ technique.

But my own story is what truly shaped ArtRise.
There was a time when I felt disconnected from myself, from others, and from my purpose. Through the study of human connection and eventually through art, I began to rediscover presence, empathy, and truth. I saw how creative expression could bring people together in ways words never could. The more I witnessed this transformation, the more I realized that art could be a bridge to human connection.

That realization became ArtRise, a movement that uses creativity to help people see themselves and each other more clearly. What began as personal healing evolved into a mission to help leaders, teams, and communities build connection, trust, and purpose through shared artistic experience.

Today, I lead ArtRise Leadership Training and community art initiatives that merge emotional intelligence with creativity. I teach leaders how to cultivate empathy and connection in their teams through hands-on, heart-forward experiences that spark real transformation.

I believe that when we connect more deeply with ourselves, we connect more deeply with others and that’s how we elevate culture, workplaces, and the world.
